SUPPORTING OUR

COMMUNITY

Feeding Families of AL

Feeding Families of Alabama is a 501c-3 non profit program, headquartered in the building of Mount Tabor Church, 373 Mount Tabor Road, Hartselle, AL 35640.

Mt Tabor Church is a non-denominational Christian church. Pastor Edee Grun (pronounced EE-dee) wanted to do more for her community, though, and started her grassroots movement to help feed struggling families in Hartselle as well as surrounding areas. That was 7 years ago. Now, this organization helps people from all across North Alabama!

At this time we do not hold the standard Sunday service, we do all of our ministry through Feeding Families of Alabama Food Pantry and it's outreach programs.

Life is hard enough for families who have troubles making ends meet. There is no reason to feel shame if you have hit a rough patch in life. We aren't here to judge. We are here to feed our neighbors physically and spiritually so they can bless their communities in turn. We will try to help you with food. But we also help in other ways.  We are all stronger when we stand together as a community and you are welcome here.

100% of your monetary donation is used to buy goods for local families in need.

We also accept donations of food, toiletries, and laundry supplies.

We are always in need of volunteers to help distribute food from the food pantry. Contact us to volunteer your time to help our community.

Help our community meet their basic needs with dignity, compassion, and kindness.

Our food pantry is open to anyone in need on the SECOND MONDAY OF EACH MONTH from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
